Fine Artists Lesson
What a fun time we had in Fine Artists this past week! Thank you “Miss Molly” for our Fine Artist Lesson this week! It was so fun! Each child came to the lesson with a box of some sort (crackers, cereal, etc). This lesson created Recycled Art inspired by the artist Miriam Shapiro! The kids imaginatively cut out parts of their box to create a body! Each one came out so different and beautiful!
Take a moment to upload your child’s art to the EBS Fine Artist spot from Molly’s follow up email. Thank you so much Molly for the time and art lesson!
Dental Week & This Week’s Art:
This past week we spent some time discussing dental care, purpose and education. You may have heard some discussion about this topic from your TK’er. We discussed the part of the tooth and why we brush….to get the bacteria and tiny food particles off. In addition we kept a log to track how well we brushed in the morning, at night, drank water and ate a crunchy fruit or veggie each day. Check your child’s log and finish it up today! It’s a self-assessment to help gauge your dental health habits!
For art we made a mouth of teeth and some students made a toothbrush on their own to go with it.
